Survive the summer in Valencia’s water parks

14 June 2022

If you are going to spend the summer in Valencia, you will have to find the best way to beat the heat.

Without a doubt, the preferred plan for the youngest and not so young is to enjoy a water park and in Valencia there is a wide variety of great water parks.

With the beginning of the summer season comes the heat and high temperatures and there is nothing better than spending the day in a refreshing environment, surrounded by slides, pools and bathing attractions.

Here we tell you the best water parks you can visit in Valencia and enjoy a refreshing day full of laughter and adventure with your friends or your family. Fun is guaranteed!

The best water parks in Valencia

We leave you a list with the best water parks in Valencia and some of the services they offer:

Aquópolis Cullera

Aquópolis is a fabulous water park that has water attractions for all ages, from the youngest to the oldest. When you visit it, you will find that the attractions are divided into three categories:

  1. The high thrill ones: such as Mini zigzag or Black hole, where you can unload all your adrenaline.
  2. The moderate ones: for those who want to have a lot of fun, such as Speed race, Amazonia river, Indiana, Volcano jacuzzi, Crazy cobra, Rapids or Waves beach.
  3. For the little ones: for children under 10 years of age, there is a children’s area where they can have the best adventures in Mini park and Polynesia.

In addition, the park has other rest areas near the water attractions, where you can rent loungers, have a locker to store your things, stores and restaurants.

This amusement park is located in the town of Cullera, approximately 30 kilometers away from Valencia and will be open from June 16 to September 4, 2022. It has parking for 700 vehicles. You can also go by bus to the Renfe train station in Cullera and take a free bus to the park. You can also arrive by train to Cullera from Valencia and take the free bus to the park.

Aquarama Benicàssim

In the town of Benicàssim (Castellón), about 45 minutes from Valencia, you can visit and enjoy the Aquarama water park. This park has impressive slides, such as the one known as Salto del Diablo (the highest kamikaze slide in Europe), the Space Shot (a simulator of a space take-off), El Remolino (also unique in the parks of our country), the wave pool and Los Lagos, or the recreational areas for the little ones known as La Cala del Pirata and Minidunas.

The park opens its facilities on June 11 until September 4, 2022.

Aqualandia Benidorm

This water park is located in the town of Benidorm (Alicante) about 130 kilometers away from Valencia, but we advise you not to miss it. It has fifteen large water attractions for all ages and for different levels, for the more daring. You can enjoy the highest slide in Europe and the highest capsule slide in the world.

Among the attractions for the little ones of the house you can find a lagoon, a geyser, Amazon, Big Jacuzzi, Iguazu, Niagara, wave pool and mini zigzag.

It also has some more moderate attractions, for those who are looking for fun and not so much adrenaline. You can enjoy its soft slopes, rapids, black hole and splash. The Verti-go and Big bang rides are a bit stronger but a lot of fun.

The park opens its doors from June 4 until September 25, 2022.

Segóbriga Park

Segóbriga Park is a water park themed in medieval times, with walls and bridges. This park is located in the inland area of Valencia, in a privileged environment such as the Sierra Calderona, in the town of Segorbe, about 35 kilometers away from the center of Valencia.

The water amusement park has slides, waterfalls, jacuzzi, swimming pools and an area for children to enjoy.  It also has a picnic area, lawn with umbrellas, a bar-restaurant, changing rooms with showers and a first aid kit.

This summer Segóbriga Park will be open from June 10 to August 31, 2022.

Marina D’Or

Marina d’Or could not miss the aquatic fun. Marina d’Or has a water park themed in Polynesia.

The park has more than 50 attractions for children and adults, as well as a diving pool, water dunes, wave pool and children’s area. They also have restaurants, a cafeteria and a picnic area.

Marina d’Or is located in the town of Oropesa del Mar, in the province of Castellón, about 90 kilometers away from Valencia. You can get there by car (by the AP-7 exit 45 or by the national road 340). There are also several regular buses that arrive to Marina d’Or and the train to the station of Castellón and Oropesa del Mar.

There are no excuses! You must visit one of these water parks. Whichever one you choose you are going to spend a great day with your family or friends. From Españolé we wish you to enjoy any of the water parks that we have recommended.
