The best 7 things to do in summer in Valencia

We know that not everyone look for the same things when we visit a city or we may seek to do very different things every day, that’s why we have selected very varied summer plans in Valencia.

1. Cultural and scientific visit

If you are a lover of science and technology you cannot miss a visit to the City of Arts and Sciences . It is a set of museums with different characteristics where guided visits to interactive museums, scientific exhibitions are organized and you can even visit the Oceanografic where you can visit all the species of the marine world in a single day.

2. Sun and beach tourism

It is the best known of the city of Valencia, its beaches are a tourist attraction not to be missed, and if you are going to spend your summer here you cannot miss the magnificent coasts that surround the Valencian city. You can find true natural places like Cullera or go to a beach like Malvarrosa right in the city like. Find the one you like the most and spend the day enjoying the sun and the Mediterranean Sea.

3. Summer cinemas

The good weather in summer in Valencia encourages everyone to want to go outside at night, that is why the cinemas also offer their screens on the outside, in the traditional open-air movie theaters . It is a good way to enjoy a movie in a totally different way.

4. Bike routes

In addition to the sun and the beach, Valencia has a wide variety of gardens and natural parks that you can easily visit by taking a ride on your bike. If you like nature trails a good plan can be taking the bike and visiting some emblematic areas such as the bed of River Turia, the Viveros park, The Cabecera park etc…

5. Visit the historic centre

Another thing you can do in the summer in Valencia is to visit the oldest alleys of the city, stroll through the squares of the centre where you will find many of the most important monuments and even in the area you can rest and have a good Valencian horchata. You cannot miss a visit to the Torres de Serrano, the Silk Museum, the Central Market, etc.

6. Visit the Albufera

Valencia afternoons are surely one of the most beautiful scenes that can be seen, if you really want to enjoy a good sunset the best plan is to visit the Albufera. In addition to being an incredible natural spot, it will evolve you with the magic and charm it gives off. You can even go to spend all day nearby, there are several good restaurants to eat and you can even take a boat trip.

7. Gastronomical route

Although some may find it hard to believe, Valencia’s gastronomy is much more than eating paella, so it may be a good time to discover the great wealth that Valencian cuisine offers . Everything will depend on your tastes, but it is best to try a little of everything, from rice, meat, wine, fish, fruits and vegetables. Don’t let anything stop you, look for taverns, bars, markets, restaurants, etc. Surely you end up being surprised by the amount of traditional flavors that can be found in Valencia.

Sure you will have fun with these irresistible plans! Our intention is that all our students learn Spanish in a different, fun and efficient way, that’s why we are not only interested in them learning the language but we also want that they get to know the city and the country a little more. Do not hesitate to contact us to start this new adventure.
