What is included?
Students stay in single or double rooms and can choose between three meal plans (breakfast, half board, or full board). Weekly laundry service and cleaning are included.
You will have your own keys to come and go as you please, but you must respect some basic rules and schedules, especially for meals. Living with a Spanish host family in Spain is an excellent option to immerse yourself in the local culture.

Our host families for students are carefully selected to ensure comfort and hospitality. While the homes are not luxurious, they are comfortable and conveniently located, with an average distance of 25 minutes from the school by public transport.
#2 What is it like to stay with a host family?
Living with a host family in Spain includes single or double rooms, with the option of full board, half board, or just breakfast. Weekly laundry service and cleaning are also provided. You will have your own keys to move freely, although you will need to follow some basic rules, especially for mealtimes.
#3 How do I know if I or my child match with the host family?
The local families that collaborate with us are quite diverse. They can be couples with or without children, or individuals living alone. All of them share the desire to provide students with a rich experience, helping them improve their Spanish and immerse in the local culture. We always listen to the student’s preferences when assining the host family. Two weeks before arrival, we provide the address and the contact details of your host family so that you can get in contact.
#4 What if I have dietary restrictions?
Host families can prepare meals according to your diet. There is an extra cost for special diets, please check the price list here. It’s important to mention your dietary requirements during the registration process so we can match you with the right family.
#5 How many students can be in a host family?
A maximum of 4 and of different nationalities.
#6 Can I book a double room?
Yes, in all types of accommodation. You would share a room with another student of a different nationality, same sex and similar age.
#7 Can I use the family kitchen?
Not normally, but there can always be exceptions. It would be necessary to check with the family.
