Wall
The interior of Españolé houses some of the best preserved remains of the old Arab wall that surrounded the city in the 11th century: part of the Puerta de la Culebra, which was believed to have disappeared, was recovered and integrated into the building along with arches and fragments of the defensive canvas.
Palace
Our school was originally a Gothic palace from the end of the 13th century, which over the years has undergone successive restorations and renovations to its current state. We can still enjoy the central patio, the arches and stairs and in the office area, a beautifully polychrome coffered ceiling more than 7 centuries old.
School
Today, our students live in Españolé with fragments of the history of Valencia and enjoy a unique space where laughter, enthusiasm and desire to learn are shared. Our school is a meeting place between different cultures and a welcoming space that our students feel as their own.

El Tossal
Our exclusive area for students to relax, study and socialize. This is also the area of the activities department where you can sign up for scheduled activities and excursions.
The cloister
The central square of the school where you can access all parts of the complex as well as the Reception and the Academic Department.
Hannax
It is the oldest part of the school that still has the original city walls and an 11th century tower next to the classrooms! You will walk along the street that our Valencian ancestors walked almost 1000 years ago.
The patio
In addition to the classrooms, our students also use the Patio in their breaks and after school. In this area we also organize our parties, barbecues and cook paellas. Here you will also find the kitchen classroom where we teach you how to make many other Spanish delicacies.
The wall
The newest part of the building can also be described as the most visually impressive. History and modern design are perfectly combined here, we have many spectacular classrooms for you to enjoy. In this area we also have a large terrace where you can rest and you can even sunbathe.

# 1 What is school like?
Espanolé is located in a Gothic palace in the center of the city, it offers excellent facilities for the study of languages. It has 28 spacious classrooms with air conditioning, natural light and interactive whiteboards, a student area, a large patio and two terraces.
#2 Where is the school located?
Españolé is right in the centre, in one of the most traditional streets of the city, next to the old University of Valencia, 2 minutes walking from the Cathedral, Town Hall … and all the places of interest. It is located between the historical part and the commercial area
#3 How far is the beach from the school?
The beach is about 20 minutes by bus from the school.
#4 What is the average age and nationality of the students?
Most of the students are between the ages of 18 and 60. The nationality of the students depends on the time of year. Our students come from many different countries and it is our goal to maintain a high mix of nationalities.
#5 How many students are there per class?
The groups are of maximum10 students. In somespecialand exam preparation courses there may be 4-6 students per class.
#6 How many students are there in the school?

Valencia offers you many opportunities to practice your favorite sports. Near the school there are sports facilities where you can play tennis, basketball, soccer, squash or do aerobics and a gym.
