What am I going to learn during cooking classes?
With your cooking classes you will delve into the fundamentals of Spanish cuisine, its ingredients, its techniques, you will learn how to prepare a complete “Spanish” menu. You will get to know traditional Spanish cuisine but you will also have the opportunity to take your steps in the most contemporary cuisine.
How are we going to do it?
The programme to learn to cook in Spain combines 6 weekly cooking classes, with 20 Spanish classes. Both courses have a practical and entertaining approach, because learning, like cooking, can be a pleasure.

What schedule will I have?
The cooking course has classes two days per week, from 10:00 to 13:00 or from 15:30 to 18:30. The schedule of the Spanish course will depend on the type of intensive course you have chosen.

What level of Spanish do I need to have?
From basic to advanced level.
How long is my programme?
The Spanish course lasts between 1 and 48 weeks. The cooking course, between 1 and 4 weeks.
Can I take only the cooking course without Spanish classes?
The cooking course is designed to be taken in combination with a Spanish language course. It cannot be booked separately.

What is your level of Spanish?
Españolé offers you the most appropriate Spanish program for your level.
A1 – Beginners
Students can deal with simple straightforward exchanges in familiar contexts. They can usually understand enough to keep a very basic conversation going.
A2 – Pre-Intermediate
Students can understand and express information about the present, past and future. They can deal with most situations involved in travelling around a Spanish speaking country, including communicating most personal and everyday information.
B1 – Intermediate
Students can comfortably interact with native speakers. They can participate in discussions and express their viewpoints in familiar contexts. They can describe experiences in their past as well as explain and give reasons for their plans, desires and ambitions for the future.
B2 – Upper-intermediate
Students can express their ideas on general topics clearly in both the spoken and written form. They are familiar with and can competently use more complex structures and have a good level of fluency andbroader vocabulary including some idiomatic expressions.
C1 – Advanced
Students are capable of understanding most lectures, discussions and debates. They are able to develop a well-structured argument with supporting evidence and explanations in oral and written form. Students have broadened their general language capability and vocabulary to feel comfortable operating effectively in social, academic and professional spheres.
C2 – Superior
Students have a high level of written and spoken Spanish They can participate easily in discussions and write well- structured compositions even on complex, unfamiliar situations. They can give clear presentations on complex issues, integrating sub themes and developing particular points.

#1 What is the Spanish and cooking course?
By learning to cook carefully prepared menus in a group of Spanish learners, students are introduced to the richness of Spanish gastronomy. The cooking course consists of 6 lessons, distributed across 2 sessions (3 lessons each) on two weekdays. This course must be combined with one of our intensive Spanish courses. We recommend choosing the Intensive 20.
#2 When can I start my Spanish and cooking course?
Non-beginners can start every Monday. For total beginners, please check the starting dates for total beginners here or contact us to find the option that best fits your schedule!
#3 What teaching method do we use in our Spanish and cooking classes for international students in Spain?
In our courses, we use an interactive teaching method, combining Spanish lessons with practical cooking classes. This approach allows you to improve your language skills while learning to prepare typical dishes of Spanish cuisine.
#4 How can I enroll in the cooking classes in Spain?
To enroll in our courses, you need to fill the booking form. If you have any question, contact us and we will guide you through the enrollment process and provide all the necessary information.
#5 Is the cooking course adapted for my diet?
The cooking sessions are not adapted to specific dietary requirements. However, students with special diets can still enjoy the cooking process and participate in the classes. Please note that Spanish gastronomy primarily includes dishes based on fish and meat.
#6 What schedule is available?
Generally, Spanish classes are held in the morning, while cooking classes take place in the afternoon. Please note that schedules may vary, and you will receive your personal timetable on the first day of the course.
#7 Will I receive a diploma and/or certificate upon completing the cooking and Spanish programme in Spain?
Yes, upon completing the course, students will receive a diploma certifying their participation and the Spanish level achieved.
